SEVEN BASS Design draws its origins from a family history, gravitating in the world of outdoor activities, board sports and fishing, rich for more than 40 years. Behind this love of a job well done and beautiful products, there is a lot of work and passion.

The brand originates from the South-West of France, a region of ancestral tradition and deep-rooted culture, mixing folklore, gastronomy, fishing & hunting, board sports and the simple pleasures of life. It was shaped by a melting pot of sport, travel, knowledge and technique. Behind each product lies a lot of work, research, many prototypes and improvements, in the perpetual search for new techniques or new influences.

Within SOCIETE CLEE, it is this desire to always move forward that has led you to achieve a number of “firsts” in Europe, particularly in the world of float tubes:

2011 : CLEE marked a decisive turning point by becoming the first in Europe to introduce PVC float tubes, designed with manufacturing technology derived from inflatable boats, through the emblematic ARMADA 170 model.

This bold choice was completely unprecedented in the world of sport fishing. It was a true revolution: for the first time, a float tube offered the robustness and durability characteristics of an inflatable boat, while maintaining the maneuverability and ease of use specific to this type of boat. By launching the ARMADA 170, we did not just introduce a new product, we literally created a market segment that did not exist before. It was like opening Pandora's box: in a few years, the entire market aligned itself with Seven Bass Design's innovations, seeking to reproduce and follow what we had initiated.

The float tube range has continued to evolve, pushing the boundaries of innovation again and again with new world and European firsts.

2012 : we struck again by introducing, for the first time in Europe, oars on a float tube with the COBRA 170 model. This concept has allowed us to diversify the possibilities of use even further, making float tubes more versatile and attractive to a wide range of fishermen.

But we didn't stop there.

2014 : new revolution in the world of float tubes in EUROPE, SEVEN BASS DESIGN introduces the dropstitch with the JUNGLE OPERATOR. Once again, Seven Bass Design has marked a decisive turning point by introducing a revolutionary technology in the world of float tubes. This innovation has revolutionized the practices of fishermen, and our Dropstitch Line range has made it possible to achieve performances never imagined before. Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, fishermen now have access to float tubes offering unprecedented stability and space, even allowing them to fish standing up , a concept that was once inconceivable for this type of boat.

2015 : With the SKULLWAY 170 model, we have taken a new step in the evolution of the float tube by achieving a European first: the integration of an electric motor mount on a hybrid float tube. This major development has made it possible to motorize a float tube, offering fishermen unprecedented mobility, and thus making the SKULLWAY a forerunner in this new era of motorized personal watercraft.

2016 : yet another revolution, we bring the possibility of modulating the storage of a float tube, launching the BOLT system , which is even presented on July 14 at the largest world trade show in the USA, ICAST in Florida. The Bolt system is THE latest revolution of the float tube, because you can now choose your side pockets, and choose their location (a world first). Likewise, the front apron allows storage.

2016 : SEVEN BASS DESIGN introduced the FLATFORM, a true revolution in the world of float tubes. Inspired by the JUNGLE OPERATOR and the MUTANT stand-up paddleboard, it combines stability, versatility, and innovation. Thanks to AIR DROPSTITCH technology, it allows anglers to fish comfortably while sitting or standing with complete safety. Compact, easy to transport, and quick to inflate, it features side oars, a motor mount, and storage bags. With its unique design and exceptional rigidity, the FLATFORM redefines the standards of modern float tubes.

2017 : We introduce the SBD ADVANCE and DEF ADVANCE , rowing inner tube float tubes, to the European market. The same year we launched a revolutionary model, the TOMAHAWK . A true fusion between several shapes of float tubes and light boats, the TOMAHAWK is a unique hybrid, combining the stability of a V float tube, the innovative structure of an H float tube, and the maneuverability of a pontoon. We named it "W", to symbolize this new generation of versatile and multifunctional floats. With this model, we have once again pushed the boundaries of innovation, offering anglers a unique tool that redefines the fishing experience on the water.

In 2018 , we reached a new milestone with the launch of the JUNGLE OPERATOR FLEX at the EFTTEX trade show. This model won one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, namely the "Innovation of the Year Award" for the 2018-2019 season , covering all categories. This success is a real source of pride, as we were the only French company to receive an award that year, a real "Cocorico" for Seven Bass Design!

The JUNGLE OPERATOR FLEX perfectly illustrates our brand's innovation DNA, highlighting layout and accessorization possibilities never before seen on float tubes. Inspired by the FLATFORM and JUNGLE OPERATOR models, this float tube is ultra-versatile: it can be used with fins, oars or even motorized, and allows you to fish both sitting and standing . The real innovation of this model lies in two major aspects:

The exclusive and patented CARGO FLEX removable pocket system, combined with the CLIPLINE lifeline, offers unprecedented modularity for transporting all the necessary equipment.
