Sebastien "SEB" Lepage
North East of France. Giant Catfish chaser. Freshwater & Saltwater fisherman fisherman.
I come from Lorraine, a region marked by its three emblematic rivers: the Meuse, the Moselle and the Meurthe-et-Moselle. These waterways have not only shaped the landscape, but they have also fueled my passion for fishing since I was very young.
Since my childhood, I have been attracted by the rivers that cross my region. Like many, I started by fishing for whitefish with bait, a simple but effective technique to introduce you to the pleasures of fishing. These first experiences, full of patience and enthusiasm, forged in me a real passion for this activity.
At the age of 10, my curiosity and desire for challenges pushed me to move towards more complex techniques. This is how I discovered dead bait fishing for zander. It was a real turning point in my practice, opening the doors to the world of predators. With determination, I learned to track these predators, understand their behavior, and refine my techniques to catch them.
But among all the species I have had the opportunity to fish, the catfish quickly captured my attention. This majestic fish, both mysterious and powerful, offers unforgettable fights. For a few years now, it has become my favorite opponent, the one that pushes me to surpass myself on every outing.
In January 2017, I had the chance to join the SEVEN BASS DESIGN France team. This opportunity was a real turning point in my fishing career. Being part of this team allowed me to improve my skills, particularly thanks to the use of high-quality float tubes that transformed my way of fishing. But beyond the equipment, it was above all the encounters that marked this adventure. I had the chance to share unforgettable moments with enthusiasts like me, friends with whom I had fishing experiences that I will never forget.
I am proud of my journey, and I look forward to continuing to explore new horizons, discover new techniques, and especially to share this passion with other fishing lovers. So, maybe see you soon, at the water's edge, for new adventures!
