Mathilde Pirovano

French Caribbean Island. Multi-predator Fisherwoman.

"Mrs" de "Mr & Mrs Fish"

My name is Mathilde Pirovano, originally from the Toulouse region in France.

I discovered a real passion for fishing almost ten years ago, thanks to my partner Paul. What was initially just a simple desire to spend time with him on nature hikes quickly became a full-fledged passion. A few months after my first outings, I dared to cast my first lures, and since that day, fishing has been an integral part of my life.

Passionate about sports in general, whether it's fitness, running or any outdoor activity, I've always loved taking on new challenges. Float tube fishing was one of the best discoveries for me. I admit that when I first encountered this unusual craft, I was a little perplexed. But very quickly, this fishing method seduced me. Not only does it allow me to fish at my own pace, but it's also a real physical activity, between finning to move around and reaching areas inaccessible to motorized boats. The float tube has become a real extension of my passion for sports and nature.

It’s been almost six years now since Paul and I moved to Guadeloupe, a beautiful island in the Lesser Antilles. Float tubing in these exotic latitudes is a real challenge, especially because of the often unpredictable weather conditions, with sometimes very strong winds. But it pushes us to innovate and adapt.

It is in this spirit that we decided to collaborate with SEVEN BASS DESIGN, leader in the float-tube field. This opportunity allows us to explore fishing from a completely new angle here in Guadeloupe.

With SEVEN BASS DESIGN, we are taking on the challenge of the "exotic float tube", an adventure that offers us the chance to discover the richness of Guadeloupe's waters in a new and exciting way.
