Paul Piton
French Caribbean Island. Multi-predator Fisherman.
"Mr" de "Mr & Mrs Fish"
My name is Paul Piton, originally from Carcassonne, in the south of France.
I have been passionate about fishing since my childhood thanks to my grandfather. Fishing has always been part of my DNA, and this passion has accompanied me everywhere, even to Guadeloupe, where I have been living for 6 years now with my partner Mathilde. Together, we have discovered the richness of exotic fishing in the tropical waters of this magnificent island.
With Mathilde, we share a thirst for adventure and discovery. Our travels around the world are not only an opportunity to discover new places and cultures, but above all to explore new fishing grounds and catch fascinating fish species.
From the beginning, fishing with lures from the shore was my preferred method. However, in 2010, my discovery of the float tube completely transformed my way of fishing. It was a real revolution for me: this boat offered me an unprecedented freedom, allowing me to get closer to the fish and its environment in a new, more intimate and direct way.
However, since moving to Guadeloupe, we have somewhat abandoned the float tube in favor of kayak fishing, mainly due to the difficulty in finding equipment on the island that is suitable for tropical conditions, both in terms of availability and resistance. This is why, when the SEVEN BASS DESIGN team offered us the opportunity to collaborate with them in 2024, giving us the opportunity to rediscover the float tube with their Flatform range, I immediately seized the chance.
For me, SEVEN BASS DESIGN has always been a reference in the float tube field. Returning to the water with their products, specially designed to withstand the challenges of tropical environments, is an incredible experience.
I am proud to represent this brand, which embodies innovation and quality in the world of float tube fishing.
